Songs of the Day!:

1.) Maxwell - Lifetime. I'm not a fan of modern R&B (just old Mo-Town and late 60's/70's artists) but this joint by Maxwell, called 'Lifetime', is pretty "swinging" as my friend The Gamp says liberally. Sounds like it was written on an old Casio Keyboard, it's got a that seventy's soul funk somewhere in there. Hai Le recommended (hahahaha).

2.) Spiritualized - Out of Sight. The second is from the understated English Band Spiritualized (Imagine Radiohead meets The Verve) called 'Out of Sight'. Although at times it's a little too much baroque for my taste, it's the lyrics and Jason Pierce's voice that make it a great song.

2.) Folk Implosion - Natural One. This one is a blast from the past for any high schooler in the 90's. I used to be a big fan of Lou Barlow of Sebadoh, which Folk Implosion was his side project. The song was featured on the KIDS movie soundtrack where Lou tasted a little success with this single.
