 The Royal Tenenbaums! Man, I tell you, this has been a great season for films. Starting off with Oceans 11, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings and now The Royal Tenenbaums. Wes Anderson's third film (after Bottle Rocket and Rushmore) is utterly beautiful. In a sense, more dysfunctional, sporadic and whimsical than Rushmore, but a lot darker. It's not quite as good as his previous films, but you have to see Gene Hackman's turn as Royal Tenenbaum. The man deserve's an Oscar. In depth review coming soon, once I clean my apartment..
