When world's collide. Last night, Emily's parents got to meet the entire Asian Community of Austin. We met up at Johnny Carino's and had a good time, dispelling our predictions that both our families wouldn't understand a thing the other was saying. That wasn't the case..or everybody was just nice enough to just keep on nodding in compliance.

The joke that wouldn't die? "Hey, Hai's paying! Get the most expensive thing on the menu!" courtesy of my older brother Long. Man, that joke just got sweeter and sweeter as the night went by. After our litmus test, the Wedding and melding of the two families should go on without a hitch, even though we thought it'd end up like the Vietnam War 2 : Reloaded. Good times!
