When East meets West.. Oh man--the engagement party was, as they say, a hoot. The toast was the pinnacle great time. I'll try to repeat what Emily's father spoke of during the shindig (as far as my memory will allow):

"When East meets West, it's a beautiful thing. Hai and Emily, are quite different--I mean, look at them (insert laughter, snickering), so that's why in the U.S., we can have people getting together without any problems."
