Guess what i'm doing for my birthday? Exciting trip to Six Flags? Nope. Boatloads of barbecue? Nuh-uh. A bag of chips, hoagies, sweet-tea and an all day pass to play Madden NFL? No sir.
Taking the Pre-Cana classes at church. I know you guys are jealous. Just admit it. Word on the street is that you get a free pass to play Paintball when you attend classes.
Oh man, this is like Defensive Driving all over again....Anyways, happy birthday to me (sigh).
- Pre-Cana is 9-12 hours in length; group size is strictly limited according to group-dynamic needs and/or site restrictions. I need only 1 hour please!
- Married volunteer leader couples, trained by the Archdiocese, facilitate the sessions, drawing from and sharing with you experiences from their own marriage in the areas of communication, decision-making/finances, human sexuality and marital spirituality She's the boss apple sauce, can I go to the bathroom now?
- You'll be asked to listen to presentations on these topics, to do written exercises from a workbook, to participate in small-group discussions and to engage in personal sharing with your future spouse. My personal sharing: "Hey baby, let's jet."
