Things that annoy me. Oh, come see, there's lots:
1.) When people wheeze.
2.) TV Spots for 'The Threat Matrix'.
3.) When my car doesn't get the sweet average EPA 27 MPG because i'm torchin' every slow ass Civic, Corolla and Porsche out there.
4.) TV Spots for 'The OC' where they kiss. A made for TV event so earth shattering, they've got to flood the airwaves for it.
5.) David Schwimmer on Friends. The guys a putz.
6.) While i'm at it, 'Friends' in general--sucks.
7.) Ashton Kuchter (however you spell it). He reminds me of the jock in high school who's dad owned a Ford/Chevy dealership and was granted a free Mustang/Camaro by default. Everybody hated him, but wanted to be around 'the car'. My dad worked for IBM, so by default I was granted an old IBM 8086 PC, pushing a whopping 5Mhz and 64k of RAM. Despite this amount of raw computing power, there were no cheerleaders outside my house wanting to run cell formulas on the new Lotus 1-2-3.
The top of the pops in my list:
1.) Luca on E.R. He's a frugal, hard lined badass on that show. He even went to the Congo to give flu shots to despot guerrillas.
2.) E.R. It's one of those shows you keep coming back to, even when you're a season or two late. Cooke County General reminds me of my own work, minus the blood, Medical Degrees, Emergency Operations, Pediatrics, medical practitioning and Kubiak from Parker Lewis Can't Lose.
3.) Plasma TV's. They're getting better (but not cheaper). Amazing resolution and contrast on the newer models.
