Greatest invention of the 20th Century? My vote: Central Heating & Air Conditioning. Having said that, ours decided not to cool at all yesterday, leaving our home a sweltering ~80 Degrees last night. You know that early steamy sex scene in Indecent Proposal where Woody Harrelson and Demi Moore are going to town? It was like that, but with virtually no hanky-panky.

Highlight of the night was when Em came in with a pregnancy test and said, "We're having a baby." I of course freaked out and made a beeline to the vodka and said, "You sure? You sure it's not broken?? Who buys the H-E-B brand pregnancy kit??"

Well, she pulled a good one on me: It was negative. She kept telling me if that if it was clear, she wasn't and if something appeared, she was. It was one of those +/- ones.

That's what we call in the industry: WTF-PWNTED.
