Doggy. So we officially adopted Gus into our home:



While not a big fan of this myself, it makes Em happy..and that's what it's all about. Don't get me wrong, he's cute in all, but nobody likes stepping in puppy shit. Am I a horrible person for thinking that?

Social Security. The Social Security Bureau sent me a letter showing my estimated SS benefits when I retire. Definitely the first sign of senility in my life. If I continue to make what I make now, I'll be eligible for approximately $1,900 a month at the age of 70 (not adjusted for inflation). If that doesn't get you wet, I don't know what does.
